Privacy notice
Asia Sourcing Tools (asiasourcingtools.com) offers free planning tools for brands that manufacture in China and Vietnam. This page explains what the site collects, why, and how long it is kept.
The short version
- No tracking cookies, no advertising trackers, no Google Analytics.
- We count how the tools are used without storing IP addresses.
- We only have your email address if you give it to us, and we use it only for what you asked.
What we collect and why
- Waitlist. Your email address, the SKU range you chose, the page you joined from and the time. We use it to tell you about new tools and the Pro version.
- Messages. What you write in the feedback form, its topic, the page and the time, plus your email address if you add one so that we can reply. We use messages to decide what to build and to answer you.
- Usage counts. When a page loads or you use a feature, for example by changing a calculator input, the site adds one to a count for that day, page and action. No IP address, cookie or identifier is attached.
- Calendar subscriptions. To count each subscribed calendar once a day, we keep a hash of the requesting IP address and calendar app, mixed with a random value that changes every day. Both are deleted the next day, so the hash cannot be traced back to you or linked across days.
- Calculator inputs. Saved only in your browser, so they are still there when you come back. They are never sent to us.
- Abuse protection. To stop spam, the server keeps IP addresses in memory for up to an hour and never writes them to disk.
Services we use
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, so it processes your IP address and request details to do that. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Search Console tells us which searches show the site. It reports totals, not individual visitors.
- Fonts are served from this site, so loading a page sends nothing to Google or any other font service.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist addresses: until you ask us to remove yours, or until we stop the product.
- Messages: as long as they help us plan the tools. We delete any message on request.
- Usage counts: kept as daily totals. They contain no personal data.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send a message through the feedback form with the email address concerned, or reply to any email from us. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If what we collect changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
